Can I embed Upstream player directly into my website?

Upstream does not provide its own embeddable player for external websites.


If you want to display your stream on a website, there are a few options:


  • Stream from Upstream to a platform of your choice, like YouTube, Rumble, or similar, then embed from there, by using their built-in embed code, which you can place on your site.
  • Use an external service, for example, Cloudflare Stream, which can take your RTMP feed from Upstream and give you an embed code you can place on your site. Note that Cloudflare Stream is a paid service.
  • Custom plugins, supported by some websites. For example, WordPress has plugins that can handle RTMP streams.


The best option will depend on your website setup and what works best for your needs.
