How to Add A Backup Stream And More!
Backup streams are only supported by platforms which support backup stream functionality - you also need to have an empty stream slot
A backup stream is a stream which is attached to your primary stream and is always in synchronisation with the primary stream, creating a backup stream ensures that your stream never goes offline, creating a truly uninterrupted Livestream.
A backup stream is intended for channels where they do not want to risk a second of downtime, if the primary goes offline for any reason, the backup stream takes over in a second. When the primary stream re-establishes the connection to the source, it will take its place instead of the backup stream
Open your Stream List Dashboard or by clicking here
Click on Add backup stream
Select the stream which you wish to attach a backup stream to
Let the backup stream install and sync - this is an automated process.
Your backup stream has been installed, you can now start it via the Start button
