Critical 2026 Policy Changes

  • Facebook's "30-Day Rule": Meta has shifted to a temporary storage model. If you want a stream to stay on your page permanently, you must manually save it or convert it to a Reel.
  • Mixcloud Archival Cap: While the stream can run 24/7, Mixcloud will not generate a replay/VOD for any session exceeding 6 hours.
  • Twitch Affiliate Shift: Most Affiliates now only have 14 days of storage (down from 60), bringing them closer to "Regular" user limits.
  • YouTube Concurrency: To prevent server abuse, a single stream key is now restricted to 3 active simultaneous broadcasts.

YouTube

**No limit **on how long a livestream can last - true 24/7 streaming. We have streams streaming for years from Upstream.

Twitch (Bypass the 48 hour limit with Upstream!)
